First Page on Your Next Blog Post

increase website traffic

Your next blog post can be on the first page of Google.

Recent Google changes have made it easier than ever for fresh content to rank higher the search results. Following a proven formula makes it simple.

This is a step by step guide to publishing an optimized blog post, using the keyword phrase “increase web site traffic”. This will result in  higher search rankings for your keyword.

The goal is to format the post in the best way for the search engines to read it easily. The correct placement and emphasis of your keyword in your blog post is called “on page optimization”. When your post is presented to the search engines in this manner, they will view it as having higher authority and will place it higher in the search results for your keyword phrase.

1) Choose only one of your keyword phrases to use. This phase will be emphasized throughout the post.

2) Choose a short title which includes your keyword phrase: “Increase Web Site Traffic”.

3) Write a blog post of around 500 words. Write naturally and include your keyword phrase approximately 2-3 times in your post.

4) Break the post into 3 subsections. Use HTML Heading Tags to emphasize the title of each section like this:

 increase web site traffic

5) Use the keyword phrase in the last sentence like this: These are the benefits when you increase web site traffic.

6) Bold, underline and italicize the keyword phrase once each in the post.

7) Attach an image to the post and name it “increase web site traffic”.

And finally, make sure to include a link to another one of your posts in your text.

Takeaway

When you publish your unique content this way, you will gain more targeted traffic to your site and add more buyers to your Email marketing list. And don’t forget to include a Call to Action - that next step you would like your prospect to take.

This is really a great post Michael.

I use these tactics on my articles but I have yet to use them on my posts. I guess because I just start writing about what I learn and I don’t even think about the search engines when it comes to that particular topic. But I’m also not selling anything either but that’s all fixing to change.

I actually purchased a course a month back to help me in this area but then a friend passed away and I got very sidetracked. I’m fixing to write my next post around keywords so please do wish me luck with accomplishing this. I need to take it up a notch and actually start ranking for my blog posts too.

Great post and great information. I’ll definitely be sharing this one.

I had thought it would be too spammy to have those words throughout so many times but with 500 words it seems like it would work. And I see you use the different sizes titles. Worth a try. Thanks for sharing this tip.

After recent updates, there are more blogs on first page of ranking then ever before. One of the major criteria being quality and fresh content, I think if the steps explained by you are implemented successfully. The chances are very high that we can find the next blog on first page!

What a great article. I’ve been searching in Google from the last couple of days about what is the first page in blog post. But I didn’t find any satisfactory content. But now I am satisfied. Thanks a lot.

  • Keyword density is derived by dividing the frequency of that word by the total words on the page. Frequency is a major factor in how search engines determine relevancy. A search engine will analyze how often keywords appear in relation to other words in a web page. Those with a higher frequency are often deemed more relevant than other web pages. This can turn into a balancing act as too high a density can be considered spam by some engines. Usually you are safe if your keyword density falls between 1 – 5 %.

On page optimization can go a long way…Some articles which i wrote a year back are still topping search engines just because of on page..I hardly did any link building for the pages..I think Google gives importance to sites with higher CTR over time.

Hi Joe – I’ve had similar experiences with older pages still on the first page of the search results. Also – that’s an interesting concept on CTR affecting organic results. That would congruent with AdWords logic.

Many really don’t understand the power of getting your blog or website found in Google many believe just because they have a blog or website people will automatically find them.

Thanks Danilo. I think having relevant backlinks to your site will always be a search engine ranking factor.
